Job Description
Job Overview Location: Ridley Park, PA, United States (On‑site) Contract: 1 year Develops, integrates and documents structural requirements to establish the system design. Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment. Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models and simulations throughout the product lifecycle.
Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution, and analyzes and reports results to validate that systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Defines and documents certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies. Supports in‑service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
Works under general direction. Key Responsibilities Develop structural designs and documentation. Perform finite element analysis and other structural calculations.
Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on product environment and design. Create and execute test plans and analyze results. Document certification and testing data.
Investigate in‑service failures and recommend improvements. Required Skills and Experience Structural analysis hand calculations. Knowledge of airframe analysis.
Local tie experience. Advanced technical education in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor’s degree), or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5 years of related work experience, or a higher degree (e.g., Master’s +3 years, PhD).
Preferred ABET accreditation for engineering programs (not required). Compensation Hourly rate: $70.99 – $75.99 USD Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (optional).
