Inter-American Development Bank# Strategic Resource Management Consultant## Job Description# Job Description: Strategic Resource Management Consultant## About the RoleThe IDB Group is seeking a Strategic Resource Management Consultant to contribute to the implementation of an IT Financial Management tool. The position plays a vital role in financial and resource planning, cost optimization, and promoting operational excellence within the Technology and Transformation Department (TTD). As a member of the Strategic Resource Management Team, you will collaborate with various product teams to align product strategies with budget frameworks and institutional priorities, thereby enhancing decision-making and strategic alignment across various initiatives.The consultant will provide critical support in executive reporting and governance processes while enabling improved cost transparency and efficiency in financial management activities.

This role aims to foster data-driven decision-making that is aligned with both operational and strategic objectives.## Key Responsibilities- Monitor implementation of product-level OKRs, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities.- Collaborate with product teams to synchronize operating methodologies, prioritization decisions, and budget allocation.- Support governance processes for funding decisions, maintaining consistency with approved budgets.- Prepare executive reports and dashboards for budget execution, investment performance, and cost transparency.- Provide analytical support for senior management in investment prioritization and resource allocation.- Assist in the IT Financial Management (ITFM) tool implementation and adoption.- Prepare, allocate, and monitor Capital and Administrative budgets, ensuring strategic alignment and integrity.- Track the utilization of financial resources and the value generated from investments.## Required Skills- \\*\\*Education\\*\\*: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.- \\*\\*Experience\\*\\*: Minimum of 2 years in analytical and critical thinking, financial or cost management, and technology-related competencies.- \\*\\*Languages\\*\\*: Proficiency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of French and Portuguese is a plus.- \\*\\*Soft Skills\\*\\*: Strong communication, leadership, and effective collaboration abilities.## Benefits- Flexible full-time contract rendered remotely from the candidate's location.- Opportunity to work with a diverse, passionate team committed to improving lives in Latin America and the Caribbean.## Useful Links- (Company Website)( (Careers Page)( Why You Might Be InterestedThis position offers a fantastic opportunity to impact financial decision-making and operational strategies within an influential organization.
