Store Manager (Ottawa)

Department: Retail Stores Location: Bayshore Shopping Centre, ON Workplace Type: On-site Job Type: Full time, Permanent Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 OPENING: Fall 2026 The Role Store Manager at Bayshore Shopping Centre location. Responsible for leading the store in all aspects: driving sales, maintaining visual standards, building and coaching a team to provide best in class customer service. Key Duties / Responsibilities Motivate sales team to exceed sales targets weekly/monthly.

Consistently look for ways to improve in‑store strategies while maintaining company standards. Develop a community culture through strong customer rapport and exceptional customer service. Set weekly schedules and delegate tasks daily.

Find ways to increase store sales through effective inventory management and merchandising. Train, manage and oversee end‑to‑end daily e‑commerce sales in‑store (processing, picking, packing, shipping orders directly to customers). Decrease store shrinkage by researching inventory discrepancies and problem‑solving issues.

Responsible for weekly bank deposits and managing store expenses. Build a talent pipeline and develop top talent into leaders. Stay up to date with new releases and upcoming products and ensure the team is informed.

Work with HR to ensure all positions are filled. Train all new or newly promoted staff on their roles and responsibilities. Submit biweekly payroll for the store team.

Ensure visual presentation meets Merchandise team standards. Host local events and initiatives while meeting company standards. Skills / Experience / Knowledge Needed 5+ years of retail management experience.

Strong background in leadership and team building. Comfortable and confident in making business‑critical decisions. Enthusiast of fashion, sportswear or footwear.

Ability to multitask & manage time independently. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience in data analysis and building Excel reports.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactive and goal‑oriented. Strong proficiency in iOS based programs and products.
