Job Title Store Manager Department Operation Reports To District Sales Manager FLSA Status Non-Exempt Company Hibbett Retail, Inc. Location 01495 Cedar Hill, TX Salary Hourly $20.00 - $23.00 Summary The Store Manager oversees and is responsible for the store's sales efforts in each department, supervising overall operation to ensure efficiency and profitability. They enforce and uphold policies, goals, and standards, and consistently communicate with District Sales Manager and the Store Support Center to drive initiatives and business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drive store sales and meet sales goals, focusing on company growth. Manage and control the assets of the company within the store. Oversee entire sales efforts; train and mentor store associates on sales strategies and skills.

Maintain knowledge of all aspects of the store, including sales statistics, inventory, and expenses. Consult and collaborate with District Sales Manager to establish and enforce policies, goals, and procedures. Direct staff to ensure all responsibilities and standards in each department are completed.

Mentor and cultivate a team of outstanding Sales Associates, Assistant Managers, and Managers in Training. Recruit, hire, train, discipline, evaluate personnel; manage store payroll and schedule to meet labor goals. Maintain proper security; partner with Asset Protection to prevent theft and reduce shrink.

Communicate inventory movement and drive inventory goals and strategies. Follow marketing and advertising plans, staying aware of customer trends. Monitor competition and new ideas; keep informed on community events to seize opportunities.

Provide extraordinary customer service as highlighted in the customer service manual. Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring effective internal control procedures. Supervisory Responsibilities Manage subordinate supervisors and non‑management employees, including Sales Associates, Hub Drivers, Assistant Managers, and Managers in Training.

Carry out supervisory responsibilities per company policies and applicable laws. Interview, hire, train, assign work, appraise performance, reward, discipline employees, address complaints and resolve problems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel. Experience managing and cultivating a sales team. 3–5 years of customer service experience and 3+ years of management experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Analytical thinker with demonstrated business acumen. Ability to problem‑solve and juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
