Storage Engineer

Total Exp: 6+yrs Notice: Immediate to 20 days Location: Anywhere in India We are looking for a Storage Engineer to build and secure our AWS backend storage. You will manage data across NetApp ONTAP and AWS EFS, making sure support engineers only see the specific case folders assigned to them. You will also protect this data using modern, phishing-resistant security and bulletproof backup plans. Key Responsibilities Manage Storage Systems: Run and optimize AWS FSx for NetApp ONTAP and AWS EFS environments. Control Folder Access: Restrict support engineers so they can only access their assigned case folders. Stop Phishing: Set up modern, phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication (like FIDO2 or security keys) for all user workstations. Backups & Disaster Recovery (DR): Design, test, and run automated backup and recovery systems to prevent any data loss. Secure Analytics Access: Connect our central analytics machine safely to the storage without using risky, permanent passwords. (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) Required Skills Storage Expertise: Strong experience with NetApp ONTAP (volumes, qtrees, ACLs) and AWS EFS and EFS Mount Points. Backup & DR: Proven experience setting up snapshot schedules, replication, and disaster recovery testing.

Security & IAM: Skilled in AWS IAM, file permissions (SMB/NFS), and secure identity systems.
