Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Statistics Tutor for a full-time remote role. The tutor will actively engage students through structured online sessions, deliver concept-driven lessons for international curricula, and support students in achieving strong academic outcomes by strengthening analytical reasoning, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver live online Statistics classes for international curricula (IB / AP / SAT / other global boards)
  • Explain statistical concepts clearly using real-world datasets, case studies, and practical applications
  • Build strong conceptual understanding in areas such as probability, data analysis, inferential statistics, and hypothesis testing
  • Design and execute customized lesson plans based on individual student learning needs
  • Create and share high-quality teaching materials, worksheets, and practice assessments
  • Assign, review, and evaluate homework, tests, and statistical projects
  • Facilitate interactive discussions to enhance critical thinking and quantitative reasoning
  • Provide additional academic support to students requiring extra assistance
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with students and parents
  • Track, document, and regularly report student progress and performance


Skills Required

  • Proven experience teaching Statistics for IB, AP, or other international curricula
  • Strong understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics across multiple levels
  • Ability to simplify complex statistical methods and formulas into easy-to-understand explanations
  • Excellent communication and student-engagement skills
  • Strong written communication with high attention to detail
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Minimum 2+ years of teaching experience (formal or informal)
  • Comfortable teaching students in an online environment
  • Proactive, adaptable, and student-centric approach to teaching


Timings

  • 8 hours a day between 6 AM–9 AM and 4 PM–10 PM
  • Week off can be given on Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday
