Staff Nurse (AU) (ID:673170)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care and advocate for patients throughout the perioperative journey.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during the pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.
• Prepare and check anaesthesia machines, medications, equipment, and emergency trolley before procedures.
• Assist the anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and recovery from anaesthesia.
• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during procedures.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection control, medication safety, and hospital protocols.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, anaesthetists, OT nurses, PACU nurses, and endoscopy staff.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and departmental training.
• Support and mentor junior nurses where required.

Job Requirements:

• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) with Full Registration.
• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Relevant nursing experience in Anaesthesia Unit (AU), Operating Theatre (OT), PACU (Recovery Room), or Endoscopy is preferred.
