Staff Accountant

Job Details We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role supports the accounting department with daily, monthly, and annual financial tasks, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting Support audit processes by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests Analyze financial data to identify variances and trends Maintain accurate and organized financial records Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and relevant regulations Support ad-hoc projects and reporting needs as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred (internships acceptable) Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Effective written and verbal communication skills
