Sr. Solutions Engineer

Lead the design and delivery of complex infrastructure solutions across servers, virtualization, networks, and cloud platforms. Architect and deploy environments using VMware, Nutanix AHV, Windows Server/Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and enterprise networking technologies. Build secure and scalable hybrid environments, integrating on-prem systems with cloud services.

Oversee system validation, performance tuning, security hardening, and final documentation. Serve as a subject matter expert for solution design, implementation best practices, and infrastructure modernization efforts. Act as a top-tier escalation point for complex issues involving systems, virtualization, networks, storage, and security.

Perform advanced diagnostics, root cause analysis, and long-term remediation planning. Ensure environments meet security, compliance, and high availability standards. Guide customers on lifecycle planning, modernization strategies, and operational improvements.

Assist Solution Architects and Account Executives with technical discovery and solution scoping. Evaluate solution requirements, constraints, and risks and provide design input. Participate in customer-facing conversations when senior-level expertise is required.

Help ensure proposed architectures align with Razor’s engineering standards and best practices. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance on technology, process, and professional development. Contribute to engineering standards, service offerings, and internal frameworks.

Lead internal training sessions and assist in building reusable deployment templates and SOPs. Evaluate new technologies, recommend adoption strategies, and support the evolution of Razor’s services portfolio. 10+ years of hands-on experience in systems, infrastructure, and network engineering roles. Deep experience in: Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP VMware vSphere and/or Nutanix AHV Networking (Cisco/Meraki, HPE/Aruba, VLANs, routing, VPNs) Firewalls (Fortinet preferred; Palo Alto or Cisco Firepower also acceptable) Storage, backup, and DR platforms (Veeam strongly preferred) Microsoft 365 and Azure administration and integrations Strong understanding of security principles and hardening practices across servers, networks, and cloud. #J-18808-Ljbffr
