Job Overview In this highly visible sales role, you will expand your sales expertise and make a difference. You will promote Rain for Rent’s complete, dependable line of pumps, tanks, filtration units, spill guards, pipes, and service within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities Key candidate will reside in the greater Seattle Area Achieve annual sales targets within the region Conduct pricing and quoting to meet profit objectives for the assigned territory Meet or exceed rental sales and revenue objectives in the assigned region Expand top‑ten customer relationships and revenues by regular face‑to‑face, quality sales calls Execute sales strategies and build customer relationships Create solutions to close clients’ irrigation and liquid handling challenges (pumps, tanks, filtration, and spill containment) Share innovative products, create market awareness, close deals, and increase new/repeat customer business Promote, seek out, and consummate new and repeat business for sales and rentals Establish new and maintain strong and professional customer client relations Establish relationships within new territories—specific to fixed facilities Project manage major projects from inception to completion Evaluate and recommend dewatering and pumping systems to suit the customer’s needs Partner with various internal stakeholders to manage sales blitzes, distributor and industry conferences, trade shows, and other trade organizations to drive dewatering business within the region Partner with Inside Sales Support to generate sales reports and proposals Attend industry‑related events to maintain updated knowledge Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers while keeping expenses within budget Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all products and their applications, pricing and terms, sales and credit policies, and advertising and promotional aids Thoroughly and accurately detail the terms and conditions of each quote to satisfy the customer and limit the company’s exposure and risk Quote prices and prepare concise written orders for sales, rentals, and leases, including estimating date of delivery based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules Promote full‑service solutions—including design, installation, service, and operation Coordinate and communicate with other branch personnel regarding product availability, delivery, and job specifics Prepare written reports and records required by management on a timely basis Manage the customer database utilizing computer software Promote cooperation and good communication with all branch and corporate personnel Be an active participant in the company’s safety culture Successfully hand off projects to sales representatives as needed Evenings, weekends (on‑call), and travel within the region are components of this position Actively participate in business development opportunities such as Lunch & Learn, product demonstrations, trade associations, and shows Assemble accurate and well‑organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner for dewatering projects Provide clear, detailed quantity take‑offs Work with and manage concerns of field personnel Computer Skills Ability to use a computer and Windows‑based software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRM, quote system, and iOS or Android devices.
