About the Role: Sr Product Manager, Technical – Data & Intelligence is responsible for envisioning, delivering, and optimizing data-driven products and solutions that support critical business functions. This role combines strategy, technical expertise, and leadership to guide cross-functional teams in building scalable data platforms and services.

The Sr Product Manager, Technical owns the product lifecycle from ideation through deployment and ongoing improvement, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. The Data & Intelligence team culture is collaborative and cross-functional, with high individual accountability, technical depth at all levels, and influence-driven leadership. Success is measured by the impact, reliability, and scalability of delivered data products and the ability to drive continuous improvement across the team.

What You’ll Do: Own and drive enterprise Data COE product strategy, roadmap, and execution across data platforms, governance, semantic layers, and analytics capabilities. Partner with business, domain, and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise data and intelligence solutions, Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Product Management, Core Platform Engineering, Data Governance, and Semantic Layer teams. Translate enterprise data strategy into actionable epics, features, user stories, and platform capabilities for Agile delivery teams.

Manage and prioritize product backlogs supporting multiple data engineering, analytics, and platform teams. Drive enterprise KPI standardization, semantic consistency, and single-source-of-truth reporting across domains. Collaborate with Architecture and Engineering teams to ensure scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence of data platforms.

Partner with Data Governance teams to implement enterprise standards for data quality, metadata, lineage, stewardship, and data contracts. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify platform optimization opportunities, operational gaps, and business value realization. Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, adoption metrics, and platform health reporting for executive stakeholders.

Lead stakeholder workshops, QBRs, steering meetings, and roadmap reviews with leadership teams. Evangelize self-service analytics, data literacy, governance adoption, and customer-first data practices across the organization. Support cloud modernization and enterprise data transformation initiatives aligned with AI/ML and advanced analytics strategies.

Coordinate release planning, dependency management, and production readiness across multiple platform and domain teams. Drive prioritization of technical debt remediation, platform enhancements, and operational improvements alongside new feature development. Lead pilot programs, platform onboarding, and enterprise adoption initiatives for new data capabilities and services.

Identify and resolve operational, organizational, and execution challenges impacting platform adoption and delivery success. Build strong partnerships across Finance, Marketing, Revenue, HR, Security, Compliance, and Enterprise Technology organizations. Communicate product vision, roadmap updates, risks, and strategic recommendations effectively to leadership and executive audiences.

Stay current with emerging trends in cloud data platforms, AI/ML enablement, governance, observability, and enterprise analytics. Strong AI fluency with the ability to effectively leverage generative AI tools in product management workflows. Experience creating AI-assisted user stories using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and INVEST-based story templates.

Hands-on experience with Atlassian Rovo agents and AI-enabled Jira/Confluence workflows. Proficiency using AI-powered meeting productivity tools such as Otter.ai, Microsoft Copilot, or Fellow for meeting summaries, action items, and follow-ups. Ability to use prompt engineering techniques for specification writing, PRD authoring, and requirements documentation.

Experience utilizing AI tools for retrospective analysis, trend synthesis, and action-item generation. Familiarity with AI-assisted release note creation and change-log drafting processes. Experience using Linear AI for issue triage, prioritization, and summary generation.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot to streamline product management and operational workflows. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 6+ years confirmed experience in hands on technical writing production code, solution engineering, or technical architecture in large scale company/ application / product environment. 9 to 12+ years of relevant Product Management experience in a software product development environment. Sophisticated level understanding of customer experience.

Ability to manage work across multiple initiatives with strong organizational and prioritization skills Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and adapt to changing priorities Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams Strong understanding of data architectures, cloud platforms, and data engineering best practices Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex technical products Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities Effective communication and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across data and software teams, resolving challenges and driving outcomes Proven track record of supporting teammates and contributing beyond technical work, including mentoring and supporting team members of varying experience levels Strong sense of ownership; proactively drives initiatives and follows through on commitments Comfortable handling ambiguity and incomplete requirements in fast-moving environments Experience improving engineering processes and team performance. Must Have Skills: Proven experience defining and delivering data products or platforms in cloud or onprem environments Communication Proven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership and stakeholders, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence. (Required) Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable plans Familiarity with data engineering tools, pipelines, and modern programming languages Experience with agile or iterative development methodologies Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data for decision-making Ability to ensure solutions scale operationally and are maintainable by others Strong AI fluency with hands-on experience using generative AI and AI-powered tools to streamline product management workflows, including requirements, user stories, documentation, issue triage, and collaboration. Nice to Have: Experience with streaming and data processing technologies such as Spark and Kafka Experience building and operating microservices architectures Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices Experience working in agile or iterative development environments Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance practices Preferred Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
