Job Description Job Description Title: Sr. Procurement Consultant (SaaS, IT Licensing) Type: Remote Contract, United States - supporting CST core busines hours Pay: $30/hr. W2 Job Description: We are seeking a highly collaborative and strategic Vendor Management & Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead and optimize the full vendor lifecycle.

This role is responsible for driving sourcing excellence, contract governance, vendor risk management, and supplier performance while partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to balance risk and maximize supplier value. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, a consultative mindset, and experience managing technology and services vendors in a complex enterprise environment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Accountable for the execution of all processes and procedures across the entire vendor lifecycle, including contract development, negotiation, execution, and post‑signature management Partner with business leaders and functional stakeholders to identify vendor management opportunities and initiatives that balance risk and maximize supplier value Strategic Sourcing: Support multiple spend category strategies and sourcing engagement models; oversee key strategic sourcing initiatives; execute RFx activities and negotiate technology and service agreements (e.g., Licensing, SaaS, BPO) Contract Lifecycle Management: Direct the evaluation, selection, transition, and ongoing monitoring of contractual agreements Vendor Risk Management: Lead due diligence efforts to prevent, mitigate, and manage vendor risk; collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement vendor risk mitigation strategies Relationship Management: Measure and monitor vendor performance; ensure effective vendor partnerships; work with stakeholders to develop performance improvement plans, resolve issues, create contingency plans, or initiate disengagement when necessary Develop and execute negotiation strategies using cost/benefit analysis, should‑cost modeling, and market research; lead cross‑functional negotiations to achieve optimal outcomes related to cost, quality, and contractual terms Manage and mitigate supply, contractual, and regulatory risk in partnership with Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Audit, and other key functions Build strong cross‑functional relationships across the enterprise, monitor stakeholder satisfaction, and foster collaborative partnerships that create value and synergies What This Role Needs Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, MIS, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3–5 years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, and vendor management Experience supporting technology and/or services procurement preferred Proven ability to develop creative and effective solutions to complex business challenges Demonstrated experience analyzing strategic issues and advising senior leaders on recommendations and outcomes Strong relationship‑building skills with internal stakeholders, external clients, and vendors; ability to cultivate professional networks Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills Superior verbal and written communication skills Location within the greater Milwaukee metro area preferred
