Responsibilities The Sr. Principal Configuration Management/Data Management Analyst plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
Coordinates modification of records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
Uses a keen sense of urgency, multi‑tasking abilities and initiative to keep projects on schedule. Position Details This position is full‑time, on‑site at our Rolling Meadows, IL location. The position is contingent upon funding/contract award, special access program and acquiring and maintaining the necessary U.S.
Government security clearance per customers requirements prior to start. Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree with 8+ years of experience working in a corporate engineering or manufacturing setting or a Masters degree and 6+ years working in a corporate engineering or manufacturing setting. Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Good understanding of Excel including creating reports, spreadsheets, and tables and proficiency in manipulating data and formats of spreadsheets. U.S. citizen. Must have Secret clearance prior to starting and the ability to maintain the Secret clearance once started.
Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working with complex databases i.e. SAP, TcE (PDM), ENOVIA. Prior military experience.
Experience within the Defense Industry. Experience with Data management. Experience interpreting government contractual documents.
Proven written/communication and analytical skills and proven ability to handle detail‑oriented work processes. Experience working in a fast‑paced environment. Experience working with both internal and external customers.
Secret Clearance. Salary Range Primary Level Salary Range: $108,400.00 – $162,600.00. The salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Benefits Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Senior level employees may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
