Senior Partner Sales Manager As a Senior Partner Sales Manager, you will drive top‑line revenue growth through the engagement of AWS Partners, creating and delivering customer value by matching Partners’ capabilities and solutions to customer needs identified by field sales reps and their teams. The role requires a demonstrated ability to succeed by working with cross‑organizational groups, thinking strategically about business and technical challenges, and building compelling value propositions around partner capabilities.
Key Responsibilities Define and execute strategies to achieve Partner and Sales organization goals. Establish business and technical relationships with Partners, Sales teams, and Customers. Manage day‑to‑day interactions between these organizations to create opportunities that deliver value to AWS customers.
Have a broad, holistic view of the AWS Partner community in local and regional markets and a deep understanding of partner capabilities and solutions that delight AWS customers. Have a robust understanding of AWS Marketplace and ability to navigate procurement and finance relationships. Advise Sales teams and participate in customer engagements to drive Partner value, recommending qualified Partners that can meet and support AWS customer needs.
Manage Partner engagement in AWS accounts focusing on business outcomes to expand existing AWS footprint and originate new customer engagements with Partners to grow overall revenue. Become a trusted member of the Sales team to develop and execute on joint Partner/Sales strategy, own opportunity execution with Partners, leverage Partner programs, and coach Partners on strategy and best practices. Experience in direct field selling software or cloud solutions. Experience working with partners through account, product, or program management and business development engagements. Preferred Qualifications AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
