Senior Millwright (433A Red Seal)
Barrie, ON $46.20/hour Full-Time Permanent
We're recruiting for a Senior Millwright for a straight AFTERNOON shift to join a leading automated manufacturing facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled trades professional with 5+ years of post-certification experience maintaining and troubleshooting complex CNC machinery, robotics, PLC-controlled systems, and automated production equipment. Beyond technical expertise, we're seeking individuals who can coach, mentor, and develop junior trades team members.
What You'll Do- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced manufacturing equipment
- Support CNC machines, robotics, PLC-driven systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Perform preventative maintenance, overhauls, calibrations, and emergency repairs
- Lead equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Utilize CMMS systems to document maintenance activities
- Mentor apprentices and junior technicians while promoting a strong safety culture
- 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License or Interprovincial Red Seal
- Minimum 5 years' post-certification experience
- Strong background in automated manufacturing environments
- Experience with CNC machinery, robotics, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
- $46.20/hour + $0.50/hr shift premium
