Manager, Software Engineering , you will lead multiple teams of software engineers building and operating T-Mobiles Oracle ERP and supply chain platforms. You will own the engineering organization responsible for delivering scalable, reliable, and modern enterprise solutions while developing the next generation of engineering managers and senior individual contributors. You will drive cross-functional alignment and set the engineering direction.

This is a strategic leadership role requiring proven experience scaling engineering organizations, driving cross-functional alignment, and building an inclusive culture of technical excellence in an enterprise ERP and supply chain environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead, develop, and scale multiple engineering teams focused on Oracle ERP and supply chain platform delivery, integration, and operations.
Hire and develop engineering managers and senior engineers; build a strong leadership pipeline through coaching, mentorship, and succession planning. Own engineering delivery across multiple workstreams; set goals, track progress, and hold teams accountable to quality, velocity, and operational excellence. Partner with VP-level and Director-level stakeholders across Product, Architecture, Supply Chain, and Business Operations to align engineering strategy with organizational priorities.
Drive workforce planning including headcount forecasting, organizational design, and resource allocation across teams. Define and enforce engineering standards, processes, and best practices that scale across the organization. Lead the technical roadmap for Oracle ERP and supply chain engineering in partnership with Enterprise Architects and senior engineers.
Build and champion a culture of psychological safety, inclusion, continuous learning, and high performance. Oversee production reliability, incident management, and operational health across Oracle ERP and supply chain platforms. Manage budget, vendor relationships, and third-party tool evaluations relevant to the engineering organization.
Drive AI and intelligent automation strategies into enterprise ERP and supply chain processes at scale. Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI-assisted operations, and engineering modernization at scale. Technical Leadership: Maintain executive-level technical credibility to guide architectural decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and represent engineering in senior forums.
Champion microservices, cloud-native architecture, containerization, and DevOps best practices across the engineering organization. Ensure observability, monitoring, logging, and performance engineering standards are embedded across all teams. Define integration and platform strategies across Oracle ERP modules, supply chain systems, and distributed enterprise services.
Partner with Cloud, Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure. Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and modern software delivery practices organization-wide. Establish reliability engineering practices including zero-downtime deployments, disaster recovery, and incident response.
Ensure engineering organizations follow architecture standards and lead cross-team governance forums. Design highly available, resilient systems supporting zero-downtime deployments and disaster recovery. Ensure observability, monitoring, logging, and performance engineering are embedded into architectural designs.
Support release planning, capacity planning, production readiness, and technology risk management. Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI-assisted operations, and architecture modernization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. 12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years managing engineering managers or leading multiple teams.
Experience overseeing Oracle ERP, Oracle SCM Cloud, or similar enterprise platform engineering teams. Proven track record of scaling engineering organizations and delivering complex enterprise software programs. Experience driving cross-functional alignment across product, architecture, business operations, and senior leadership.
Strong experience leading architecture and delivery across cross-functional engineering organizations. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business. Experience modernizing legacy ERP and supply chain platforms into cloud-native architectures.
Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM), or Oracle Cloud applications at scale. Experience implementing AI-enabled business capabilities and intelligent automation. Experience within telecommunications, retail, or other industries with complex supply chain operations.
Architecture or leadership certifications such as TOGAF, Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS, or equivalent. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Deep understanding of Oracle ERP and supply chain platform architecture, configuration, and enterprise integrations. Understanding of supply chain operations, procurement, inventory management, order-to-cash cycles, and enterprise resource planning.
Knowledge of enterprise compliance requirements, data governance, auditability, and secure system design. Enterprise Architecture Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, API architecture, and event-driven integration patterns. Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Oracle Database, SQL, and NoSQL technologies.
Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI), and Infrastructure as Code. Cloud & DevOps Exceptional people leadership skills including organizational design, talent development, and performance management at scale.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, DevOps automation, and modern software delivery practices. Knowledge of observability platforms including Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, and OpenTelemetry. Leadership & Communication Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with executives, cross-functional leaders, and engineering teams.
Ability to build high-trust, inclusive cultures across distributed, multi-team engineering organizations. Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, and organizational problem-solving skills. Passion for developing engineering leaders and building world-class, inclusive engineering organizations.
