Sr. Interior Designer

Role in One Line

Own the design outcome of every Dezime project end-to-end — from requirement capture, post Sales and design development to signed-off drawings and execution validation.

Key Responsibilties

Requirement & Site Study

• Take ownership of the project after sales closure.
• Conduct detailed requirement discussions with the customer.

BOQ & Costing

• Create and maintain the project BOQ in Bifrost, Dezime's in-house automated CRM and costing platform.
• Translate customer requirements into accurate product and material selections.
• Ensure the BOQ remains aligned with the approved design and budget throughout the project.

Design Concept & Direction

• Develop the overall design concept and theme direction.
• Create layouts, mood boards, material palettes and design narratives.
• Balance aesthetics, functionality, budget and execution feasibility.
• Take ownership of design development after project closure.
• Present design iterations to customers and incorporate feedback.
• Manage design changes systematically while maintaining control over scope, cost and timelines.
• Drive the project towards customer sign-off.

Working Drawings

• Own the complete working-drawing set required for execution.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated and aligned with the approved design and BOQ.
• Drafting may be delegated to a drafter, but the Senior Interior Designer remains accountable for the final output.

3D Visualisation

• Develop or coordinate 3D visualisation for customer presentation and design validation.
• Use Dezime's AI visualisation tools, SketchUp or other relevant tools as required.
• Brief and coordinate with 3D visualisers/modelers when modelling or rendering is delegated.
• Ensure final renders accurately represent the approved design, materials and finishes.

Material & Procurement Coordination

• Coordinate material requirements and quantities with the SCM team.
• Validate that materials being ordered match the approved design, BOQ and specifications.
• Resolve design-related procurement queries and substitutions where required.

Site Visits & Execution QA

• Conduct approximately 2–3 site visits per project, depending on project requirements.
• Validate execution against approved drawings, BOQ and design intent.
• Identify and communicate design/execution deviations.
