Main Responsibilities
Costing
- Ensure costing activities comply with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Maintain and update standard costs.
- Analyze variances between actual and standard costs and provide detailed root cause analysis and recommendations.
- Oversee and approve the inventory scrapping process by reviewing supporting documents and conducting the necessary investigations.
- Follow up on weekly basis the work in prosses (WIP).
- Follow up on monthly basis the prosses orders and ensure to be closed before the end of month.
- Monitor inventory valuation and support slow-moving / obsolete stock provision analysis.
- Participate on quarterly and annual inventory counts.
Fixed Asset
- Maintain the fixed asset register in SAP, ensuring accurate classification, useful life, and depreciation methods.
- Process asset additions, transfers, retirements, and disposals.
- Manage Capital Work in Progress (CWIP/AUC) and ensure timely capitalization upon project completion.
- Participate on quarterly and annual physical count of the fixed asset count by tagging prosses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in costing and/or fixed assets accounting, preferably within the manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of costing principles, inventory accounting, and fixed asset accounting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of IFRS and internal control practices is an advantage.
