SQL Server Developer (Bedford)

Job Title : SQL Server Developer Location : Bedford, Massachusetts Salary : $90,000–$115,000 + bonus Work Authorization : US Citizen or Green Card only (no sponsorship now or in the future) Overview An established organization is seeking a mid-level SQL Developer to design, build, and support scalable data and automation solutions. This role focuses on delivering reliable data pipelines, reporting, and workflow automation that support business operations and decision-making. The ideal candidate will work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain SQL Server solutions, including queries, stored procedures, and data models • Optimize query performance and improve efficiency of existing database processes • Build and support reporting solutions using Power BI, including dashboards and semantic models • Design and implement workflows and automation using Microsoft Power Platform tools • Integrate data across systems such as SharePoint, internal platforms, and APIs • Support data validation, transformation, and monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability • Assist in building and maintaining ETL processes using modern data tools • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions • Document systems, processes, and technical implementations Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • 4–7+ years of experience in SQL development and data-related roles • Strong experience with SQL Server, query optimization, and data modeling • Experience with Power BI for reporting, dashboards, and data visualization • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) • Experience working with ETL processes and data integration • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders Role Structure • Split focus across SQL/database development and Power BI/Power Platform solutions • Acts as a key contributor to data and reporting initiatives • Works closely with both business and IT teams • Fully on-site role in Bedford, MA (5 days per week) Interview Process • Initial virtual interview with team members • Follow-up discussion with senior leadership • Final on-site panel interview
