SQL Developer

We’re looking for an experienced SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain high quality database solutions that support our applications, analytics, and business operations. You’ll work closely between our Projects and Support Teams, with a key focus on understanding our business needs and processes. Role: SQL Developer Location: Birmingham - Hybrid Level - Mid-level responsibility Key Responsibilities Develop, optimise, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures and functions.

Design and implement database schemas, tables, views, and indexing strategies Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate databases with applications Troubleshoot performance issues and implement solutions Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all environments Participate in reviews and contribute to best practices for database development Create and maintain technical documentation Required Skills & Experience 3 years + in a similar role Strong proficiency in SQL Experience with relational database systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL or MySQL Solid understanding of database design principles and normalisation Experience with performance tuning and query optimisation Familiarity with ETL tools, data warehousing concepts, or BI platforms Ability to work with version control systems (e.g., Git) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
