The successful candidate will play a key role in engaging local communities, increasing participation opportunities and encouraging sustained involvement in sport and physical activity across South Lanarkshire. The role will involve developing strong relationships with schools, clubs, coaches and a range of internal and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality programmes and events.
Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities will include implementing community sport and recreation programmes, supporting the development of disability sport opportunities, supervising coaches and instructors, organising and managing events, and assisting with the monitoring and reporting of programme outcomes and performance measures. Qualifications and Experience We are looking for an individual with experience in planning and delivering programmes within an Active Schools, health or community sport setting. Candidates should demonstrate strong organisational and performance management skills, with the ability to analyse and present KPIs, reports and outcomes effectively.
