We are partnering with a fast growth, boutique commercial law firm. They are seeking a Special Counsel - Commercial Real Estate, able to act for owners, investors, landlords and tenants, working on office and industrial assets to retail and shopping centres. Their work covers the full transaction, with close attention to title, leases and due diligence.

You will be advising Developer. Investor & Major landlord clients on acquisitions and sales, leasing, finance and ongoing asset management. The ability to lead P&D matters, end-to-end real estate transactions, development structuring is essential.

\n

The firm have built a modern, progressive and automated practice with exceptional tech stack and fantastic support team.

About the role\n

You'll work alongside clients on complex matters, with the chance to collaborate with interstate teams. The role offers genuine scope to lead on complex commercial, industrial and retail transactions, major commercial and residential developments and leasing matters.

• 6+ years' PAE in property law
\n
• Experience across property development and commercial transactions
\n
• Strong drafting ability
\n
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
\n
• Clear, confident communication
\n
• Commercial acumen and sound critical thinking
\n
• Skills in the use of legal technology / AI
\n
• A leadership mindset, with genuine interest in mentoring junior team members
