Solutions Engineer

Solutions Engineer with key skills in product support and web application testing is sought by an international compliance IoT technology company with its head office based in North Leicester. With a 25-year history of delivering bespoke, end-to-end connected solutions, this ISO‑accredited organisation has grown by reputation. It is looking for a Solutions Engineer to support a PaaS solutions platform.

Reporting directly into the Solutions Manager, this role will use a solid background in hands‑on software application and system support to deliver timely, well‑communicated solutions to customer queries. In return, the incumbent can expect a supportive, technologically autonomous working environment within a market‑leading company. Role Responsibilities Act as the first point of escalation for all technical queries & issues across the company’s applications Conduct web/mobile application testing when required Champion the use of a Jira ticketing system to manage tickets effectively Champion company‑wide commitment to improving the support function & customer communication Personal Requirements A background in hands‑on system & software application support Previous experience working in an SME environment A basic understanding of application testing (unit, integration, performance, regression, etc.) A clear‑minded approach to problem solving Understanding of the Microsoft tech stack (Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server) Experience with database platforms would be a plus (SQL, Postgres, etc.) Experience working in an IoT‑driven environment would be a plus Due to the nature of this role on‑site working is required.
