About the Role You’ll work closely with customers, prospects, and internal teams to translate business goals into scalable AI architectures built on our platform and models. As a Sales Engineer, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor — bridging the gap between cutting‑edge technology and real‑world healthcare impact. You’ll identify opportunities, shape solutions, and ensure seamless deployment and adoption of AI that truly transforms patient access and engagement.

This is an ideal role for a deeply technical builder who’s excited about healthcare, data, and AI—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and enjoys helping complex organizations unlock value with intelligent automation. This role reports to the Director of Solutions Engineering. What You’ll Do Act as a technical advisor and strategic partner to customers and prospects.

Lead complex demonstrations of Assort Health’s AI offerings, showcasing real-world value and scalability. Partner with Sales to qualify new prospects and support existing customers on their journey to build and scale AI-driven healthcare solutions. Provide high-value feedback to Product, Engineering, and Research teams to inform platform evolution and feature prioritization.

Create educational content and tooling to empower both internal teams and external partners. What You’ll Bring 2+ years in a pre‑sales or solutions engineering supporting EHR systems. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Proven ability to map business needs to technical solutions and drive consensus across multidisciplinary teams. Strong engineering fundamentals with experience designing, building, or scaling production‑grade systems or applications. A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and adaptability — eager to learn new skills and ensure both team and customer success.

Comfort operating in dynamic, high-growth environments, managing multiple priorities, and context-switching with ease. Willing to travel up to 50% as needed. Nice-to-Haves Experience with voice AI technologies.
