ABOUT THE ROLE As a Solution Engineer, you’ll be the technical engine behind our sales motion, owning the “show me how it works” moments that make-or-break deals. You’ll run demos, lead POCs, and translate customer environments into winning architectures, while staying involved post-sale to ensure what’s sold is deployed and adopted successfully. This role leans pre-sales, but you won’t hand off and disappear.
You’re hungry, technically sharp, and know how to earn trust fast across dev teams, security engineers, and CISOs alike. RESPONSIBILITIES Pre-Sales (Primary Focus) Own the technical sales cycle: discovery, demos, POCs, and solution design tailored to each prospect’s environment. Run high-impact workshops and proof-of-concept across CI/CD, SCM, AppSec, and cloud environments.
Translate prospect requirements into architectural solutions that map Legit’s capabilities to their DevOps and security workflows. Serve as the technical voice in deals, building confidence with developers, DevOps engineers, security teams, and executives. Partner with Account Executives to craft compelling technical narratives and support RFP/RFI responses.
Support onboarding and handoffs to ensure smooth customer transitions and early time-to-value. Stay connected to key accounts post-deployment to validate adoption and surface expansion opportunities. Feed real-world technical insights back to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
Contribute to solution playbooks, demo environments, and reusable POC frameworks. REQUIREMENTS 3-7 years in AppSec, DevSecOps, or Software Architecture, with meaningful pre-sales experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or equivalent. Hands-on experience with AppSec tools, SDLC processes, and DevOps pipelines.
You speak the language of developers and security teams. Proven ability to architect and demo SaaS security solutions across CI/CD, SCM, and cloud environments (such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). Familiarity with AI tools and LLM-powered workflows, able to discuss AI adoption, governance, and security implications with technical and executive audiences.
Strong communicator, fluent with CISOs and executives as well as hands-on engineering teams. Founder mindset: hungry, takes ownership, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to grow professionally. Comfortable operating without a perfect playbook; able to prioritize and stay effective in fast-moving sales cycles.
BONUS POINTS Background in Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) or DevSecOps tools. Experience with enterprise SaaS solution design in regulated industries. Understanding of emerging AI security risks (model misuse, data leakage, poisoning) and enterprise mitigations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
