Your Role:
As an , you'll work as part of a 3-person crew alongside licensed electricians to install residential solar energy systems safely, efficiently, and to Simply Solar's high standards. You'll take the lead on all roof-related work and help deliver top-tier solar installations that power California homes.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret solar plan sets and layouts
Install residential solar systems on various roof types
Lead roof layouts and complete roof penetrations
Ensure all racking is level, secure, and properly grounded
Bend and run rooftop conduit for solar wiring
Perform basic electrical connections (home runs, jumper wires, etc.)
Manage roof-top safety and fall protection in compliance with OSHA
Install tilt kits, solar panels, and related components
Represent Simply Solar with professionalism and a positive attitude
Qualifications
1.5+ years of solar installation or roofing experience (minimum)
Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Experience with battery systems or ground mounts (preferred)
Crew leadership or training experience (a plus)
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
