Solar FIeld Engineer

Job Description Job Description Responsibilities Candidates must be based in an East Coast location, and this will be a travelling role covering the East Coast location Review solar PV system designs and operating systems for quality and compliance Conduct site inspections, audits, and evaluations of PV and storage systems Analyze system data and troubleshoot existing or potential issues Support commissioning activities, including thermal imaging, insulation resistance testing, and reporting Review low voltage, medium voltage, wiring, control diagrams, specifications, and data sheets Coordinate with engineering and inspection partners to ensure project quality standards Travel throughout the East Coast region for inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting support Requirements Experience with solar PV systems, including design, installation, inspection, or O&M Strong understanding of LV/MV systems, civil and structural plans, DAS, and communication networks Familiarity with central and string inverters, PVSYST, and Helioscope Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Smartsheet, Procore, and Monday.com Clean driving record and willingness to travel up to 75% across the East Coast Candidates must be based in an East Coast location Engineering degree or equivalent field experience preferred
