Salary: $90,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of related software development experience.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent education, technical training, or professional or military experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI polygraph; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Expert proficiency in at least one programming language and experience with multiple technologies, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, React, or .NET/Visual Basic.
• Strong knowledge of software development processes and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based application development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Nexus.
• Experience with SQL data stores and enterprise databases.
• Experience deploying software to on-premises or data-center infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence in an Agile development environment.
• Preferred: Experience developing containers for Red Hat OpenShift.
• Preferred: Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Preferred: Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS/Sass/Less, JavaScript, or React.
• Preferred: Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Helm or Terraform.

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and software solutions.
• Analyze user and business needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Write efficient, maintainable, well-structured, and testable code.
• Create automated unit and integration tests, fix defects, and support formal testing and releases.
• Design and maintain application code across development, testing, production, and on-premises or data-center environments.
• Use the customers enterprise DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines to build, test, integrate, and deploy software.
• Develop and maintain application monitoring in accordance with established security requirements.
• Take part in sprint planning, backlog refinement, story development, estimation, retrospectives, and other SAFe and Scrum activities.
• Keep the Scrum Master and development team informed about progress, technical risks, dependencies, and delivery concerns.
• Maintain technical documentation and recommend ways to improve application processes, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Provide technical support and consultation on application, database, and infrastructure issues.
• Build solutions integrating enterprise data, databases, geospatial systems, and customer workflows.
• Contribute throughout the software development life cycle, from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to support our Geospatial Services & Solutions business area in delivering high-quality, cost-effective software in a complex enterprise environment. You will work with SAFe and Scrum teams on enterprise geospatial and imagery capabilities in an NGA mission environment, potentially supporting imagery ingestion, validation, backup, tracking, dissemination, and geospatial product management. The technical environment may include GIMS, GDATM, GRMS, MARGE, NGA product dissemination systems, AMSD, DPPDB, UCAP, GMM, and other GEOINT and imagery systems.

This is an on-customer-site, in-person role. The listed annual pay range is $90,000–$110,000.
