Responsibilities Generate and simulate operational‑level plans to explore the art of the possible and how to defend the ultimate high ground in a future space war. Dynamically optimize terrestrial and space‑based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness.

Strategically optimize the placement and maneuvering of constellations of satellites to satisfy multiple, evolving priorities. Our team leverages industry‑standard open‑source software solutions such as GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher. Our automation‑first, “everything as code” mindset allows our software engineers to focus their time and efforts on building cutting‑edge functionality for end users.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Software development experience with object‑oriented programming languages such as Java and JavaScript (Node.js). Software development experience with .NET or C#. US citizenship required; no clearance required to start but must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Desired Skills: Experience working on large‑scale software projects with multiple teams and stakeholders. Experience with software version control tools, such as Git. Experience developing software with CI/CD build tools (GitLab, Jenkins).

Familiarity with software test best practices, including unit test, integration test, and end‑to‑end test. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and rapidly changing environment. Strong time‑management skills that enable on‑time project delivery.

Familiarity with the Space Domain. Security Clearance Clearance Level: TS/SCI. This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

Location & Work Schedule Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite full‑time. The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules, including 40‑hour weeks, condensed schedules, and 9x80 with every other Friday off.
