A Senior Full Stack Engineer at Finxact plays a pivotal role in our user experience organization, driving the development of innovative solutions and AI powered features on Finxact.io. In this role, you’ll lead and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and deploy software that meets the evolving needs of our clients and partners. The ideal candidate brings a passion for technology, deep expertise in full stack development, and a strong desire to contribute in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

What you will do: Collaborate cross‑functionally with product managers, designers, and developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications, prototypes, and production‑ready features. Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using TypeScript and React. Design and implement scalable back‑end services and APIs using Go and modern cloud technologies.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code; conduct code reviews and mentor peers. Troubleshoot and resolve issues from QA, partners, or clients by participating in an on‑call rotation and managing technical problems through root cause analysis and solution implementation. Contribute actively to agile ceremonies and workflows to drive continuous improvement.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, including mentoring on financial services software best practices. Integrate AI‑powered capabilities into web applications, leveraging tools and services to enhance user experience, automation, and decision‑making. What you will need to have: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology 5+ years of experience in a Technology, Fintech, or SaaS organization 2+ years of development experience in Go, TypeScript, React, or equivalent languages.

Experience with relational databases, RESTful services, Docker, and Git Experience leading development initiatives and delivering high‑quality results Openness to feedback from code reviews and design direction from peers Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders across the organization What would be nice to have: Work experience in core banking or financial technology Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Lucidchart Ability to coordinate multiple tasks to completion with minimal supervision Salary Range $122,000.00 - $198,000.00. These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
