As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's C&IB organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA. Job Profile We are currently looking for a Java full stack engineer/lead. Key Technical Requirements (Must Have) React/Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Gradle. 5+ years of experience with Java, Microservices, OpenShift or other Cloud services (AWS, Azure), Spring Boot, WebSphere, Apache, Apigee.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Jenkins, UDeploy. Experience with Build tools like Maven, Gradle. Experience creating monitoring dashboards in tools such as Dynatrace, Humio/Splunk.

Strong debugging skills – performance tuning, JVM profiling, capacity planning. Experience in monitoring, maintenance and support systems to ensure stability and compliance. Experience leading projects and mentoring onshore/offshore developers with strong communication skills.

Nice To Have Jenkins, APM tools, Kubernetes. Job Description Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions. Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs.

Prepares technical and procedural documentation required. Facilitates complex problem resolution. Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues.

Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software. Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities. Qualifications 3+ years of relevant/directed industry experience.

A university / college degree is preferred; alternatively, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience may be considered. Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities for a role in software engineering and leadership. Preferred skills include APM Project Management, Application Development, Business Management, Customer Solutions, Design, Group Problem Solving, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Process Improvements, Release Management, Software Solutions, User Experience (UX) Design.

Competencies in Application Delivery Process, Application Design, Architecture, Application Development Tools, Application Testing, Packaged Application Integration, System Development Life Cycle, Technical Troubleshooting. Education Bachelor’s Degree. Certifications No required certifications.
