Job Summary Work Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 Line of Business: Technology Solutions Pay Range: $81,600 - $115,200 CAD Job Description This role is responsible for enterprise ownership of Legal Technology platforms supporting regulatory compliance, eDiscovery, legal hold, and contract management systems. The position combines SaaS engineering, cloud integration, production support, vendor management, and identity/security integration within a regulated banking environment. We are looking for an intermediate-level software engineer with strong SaaS integration experience to act as the technical owner of multiple enterprise SaaS and hybrid systems.

Responsibilities Application Ownership: Own end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise legal applications, including SaaS delivery, modernization, and migration from legacy on-prem systems. Cloud and Identity Integration: Implement and support Azure-based integrations, manage Microsoft Entra ID, support SSO, MFA, and conditional access policies. Integration Engineering: Build and support REST API integrations, batch data processing, scheduled jobs, SFTP and other file transfers, and integrate Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Exchange, SharePoint).

Data & Database Support: Understand relational database fundamentals, support backups, recovery, and migration activities, collaborate with DBAs and data engineers. Security & Compliance: Ensure encryption standards, manage RBAC access control models, and maintain compliance with enterprise banking standards. System Development: Develop new solutions, features, and unit/component tests for business needs; perform code reviews, support incident management, and recommend tools and processes.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality management reviews, documentation of system components, and proactive defect prevention. Qualifications 4–6 years of experience in enterprise application engineering, SaaS integration, or production support. Experience in regulated industries such as banking or financial services (TD experience preferred).

Ownership mindset, strong troubleshooting ability, and familiarity with cloud identity systems. Proficient with Azure Cloud, Microsoft Entra ID, SAML/OAuth, and Microsoft 365 integrations. Experience with REST APIs, FTP/SFTP, and batch data processing (ETL concepts).

Understanding of relational databases, backup/restore, and migration. Knowledge of security and governance controls such as CSP, RBAC, and data protection. Experience in incident management, change management, and ServiceNow.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset. Nice to Have Experience with Legal SaaS applications such as Exterro, TeamConnect, iManage, Dilligent, Intella, Tymetrix. TD Bank domain knowledge (SDLC, ServiceNow, change tickets).

DevOps concepts like CI/CD pipelines. Ability to translate technical issues into business impact. Adaptability to evolving cloud and SaaS ecosystems.
