JOB TITLE: Software Engineer – Embedded (Level 5) LOCATION: Kent, WA PAY RATE: $115/hour Job Details Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension) Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI required to start (Defense) Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna) Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplier Summary Lead code development for highly embedded systems Drive the development of broad, open-architecture solutions Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to rapidly prototype hardware solutions Develop code and ensure proper execution on target processors Independently execute assigned scope and deliverables Requirements Active Top Secret clearance with SCI required to start (Defense) Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field required 5+ years of embedded programming experience with C, C++, Linux, and/or PetaLinux Strong experience with hardware-software integration Advanced proficiency in Embedded C++ (primary skill) Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
