Software Engineer

Overview Location: Montreal (Day 1 onboarding onsite / in office presence 3x week) The Workflow Orchestration area that houses the Community of Practice also has several development teams providing Pega transformation solutions supporting Operations. As a Pega Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our Pega platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our business-critical applications. You will work closely with our development teams, business stakeholders, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal use of the Pega platform.

Responsibilities Administer, maintain, and provide ongoing support for the Pega platform to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, and IT partners to enable seamless integration and optimal use of Pega. Monitor system health, perform routine maintenance, and implement improvements to ensure reliability and scalability.

Assist with Pega application development, configuration, and upgrade activities as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field 5+ years of experience with Pega BPM 2+ years of experience as a Pega Administrator or similar role Experience with Pega application development Experience with Pega system administration, including installation, configuration, and upgrade Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting Knowledge of writing SQL queries Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions Expertise in integration technologies such as SOAP, REST, MQ, TCP, HTTP Desired Skills Well versed with SDLC, Agile, CD&CI methodologies Hands-on Java experience is an asset Experience with Python is an asset Experience with Git and pull workflow Employment details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Information Technology, Strategy/Planning, and Administrative Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting, Financial Services, and Banking Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Compunnel Inc. by 2x Get notified about new Software Engineer jobs in Montreal, Quebec, Canada . #J-18808-Ljbffr
