About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Development Manager to lead their talented engineering team in Kimberley . This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of software development methodologies and a passion for building high-performing teams. You will be responsible for guiding the development process, ensuring timely delivery of quality software, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of software projects, meeting quality standards and business objectives.
• Collaborate with product management, stakeholders, and other departments to define project roadmaps and priorities.
• Implement and refine agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to optimize team performance.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional growth of team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a management or team lead role.
• Proven experience managing software development projects using Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of various programming languages, software architectures, and development best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and drive cross-functional collaboration.
