As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Product Manager to help shape the future of our last‑mile logistics software. Overview Reporting to the Director of Software Development, the Software Development Manager will lead the end‑to‑end development of the Company’s cutting‑edge cloud‑based logistic management solution. You will provide technical and coaching mentorship to your direct reports and manage the complete software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities also include the delivery management of strategic technical projects which are complex and secure. You will be part of the technical leadership and will influence the Company’s long‑term technical and business strategy. A successful candidate will be a strong and experienced technical leader with an established background in developing software applications using agile software development best practices.

Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and direction to inspire and motivate high‑performing technical teams. Oversee and coordinate the work of 3 leads and 12+ software developers and QA analysts. Drive cross‑functional and cross‑team alignment for the teams.

Build an engineering culture for software development team deliveries that finds a balance between high quality work and delivery time. Hold the development team to high standards in writing quality scalable and supportable code, complete with appropriate unit tests, automated testing, documentation, and operationalization aspects in a CI/CD environment. Be pragmatic.

Ensure that the teams understand, define, and select tradeoffs that balance cost, speed of delivery, architectural best practices, and other concerns while delivering maximum impact to the user. Challenge solutions and estimates when appropriate. Actively contributes to continuous process improvement by implementing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices, including sprint planning, grooming etc.

Provide day‑to‑day technical guidance to the development team as subject matter experts on the technology they are using. Monitor development progress continuously and address any questions or challenges regarding project or sprint plans. Identify issues/events that may impact resources, schedule, scope and/or delivery.

Escalate risks and issues to appropriate parties in a timely manner and provide recommendations on problem‑solving. Represent the development team in front of relevant stakeholders and actively participate in team demo. Enable and empower development team members to achieve maximum productivity, optimal creativity and efficiency in an environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.

Maintain and execute L&D framework, coach and mentor development team members. Provide clear guidance and feedback to them regarding performance, career management, and development. Participate in the recruitment process, successful onboarding, mentoring, and investing in staff to reach their full potential.

Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or relevant fields. Master's degree preferred. Experience 3+ years of engineering team management experience including technical leadership. 10+ years of engineering experience.
