About The Role

\n

Are you a seasoned Developer who enjoys both the strategy of leadership and staying close to the code? At Lite n’ Easy, we are looking for a Software Development Team Lead to join our Brisbane-based ICT team. This is a high-impact, "brownfield" environment where you will head a team of 5 in-house developers dedicated to continuous improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys mentoring developers, driving best practices, and delivering innovative solutions that support both operational excellence and strategic business growth.

• Lead & Mentor: Head a team of 5 skilled developers, fostering a collaborative environment and identifying opportunities for their professional growth.
\n
• Enforce Standards: Establish and lead best practices in Web and Application development, ensuring the team maintains excellent coding standards across the full development cycle.
\n
• Technical Delivery: Manage timelines from concept through to application launch, working closely with the Applications Manager and ICT Project Manager to prioritize strategic initiatives.
\n
• Hybrid Approach: Navigate a diverse workload involving Agile/ Waterfall and Squads for projects Business-As-Usual (BAU) tasks.
\n
• Technical Quality: Ensure the reliability, performanceand security of applications while driving innovation to meet evolving business needs.
\n

About You

\n

\n
• 10+ years' experience in web and application development.
\n
• 5+ years' experience leading and mentoring development teams.
\n
• Strong experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including: \n
  \n
  • C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core
  \n
  • ASP.NET web applications
  \n
  • Windows Forms applications
  \n
  • RESTful APIs
  \n
\n
• Solid SQL Server and database development experience.
\n
• Strong understanding of application security principles, particularly within eCommerce environments.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n

\n

Nice To Have

\n

\n
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Microsoft App Center.
\n
• Experience with Next.js, Storyblok, and Vercel.
\n
• Knowledge of legacy technologies including Visual Basic 6 or Microsoft Access.
\n
• Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and other business applications.
\n
