Job Description

SDET — Software Development Engineer in Test Senior QA | In-Office, Bengaluru | Full-Time About Triomics Triomics is building the agentic AI layer for oncology EHRs. Cancer hospitals spend billions on highly trained staff manually reading unstructured patient records — pathology reports, clinical notes, genomic panels — to power workflows like trial matching, registry curation, visit prep, and quality reporting. We replace that manual work with task-driven AI agents that sit inside the EMR and process records with >95% accuracy, at scale, in real time.

Our platform is trusted by leading cancer centers including Memorial Sloan Kettering, Mount Sinai, and Yale Cancer Center. We have grown 10x in the last year and process millions of oncology medical documents monthly. Role Overview We’re looking for a Senior SDET who takes ownership of quality end-to-end — from understanding requirements to ensuring stable production releases.

This role goes well beyond writing test cases; you’ll shape how we build, test, and ship reliably. You’ll be testing systems where accuracy matters deeply — our AI agents extract data from medical records to power clinical trial matching and patient care decisions. A missed edge case here isn’t a cosmetic bug; it affects real healthcare outcomes.

What You’ll Work On Here are examples of the kind of problems you’ll tackle: Clinician-Facing UI Quality: Own end-to-end testing for the React/TypeScript interfaces that physicians use daily, where reliability and correctness are non-negotiable. Automation at Scale: Scale and improve the existing Selenium-based automation framework while building new coverage for APIs, integrations, and data pipelines. EHR Integration Testing: Validate complex integrations with hospital EMR systems, ensuring data flows correctly across systems in production.

Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end testing across UI, APIs, and EHR integrations Build, scale, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium Design test strategies for complex, data-heavy healthcare workflows Work closely with engineers to enable shift-left testing and catch issues early Drive regression coverage, release readiness, and production validation Debug issues deeply across the stack and collaborate on faster resolutions Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and QA processes Our Tech Stack: Backend: Java / Spring Boot Frontend: React.js / TypeScript AI Services: Python Database: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch Infrastructure: Azure, AWS, Docker / Kubernetes, Temporal Test Automation: Selenium Must Haves 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in QA / SDET roles on complex, production systems Strong experience in test automation using Python, Java, or JavaScript Hands-on experience with Selenium ; familiarity with Playwright or Cypress is a plus Solid understanding of API testing and backend systems (Java / Spring Boot) Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar) Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across frontend and backend Experience testing complex products beyond basic CRUD applications Good to Have Experience testing AI/ML outputs or validating data extraction accuracy at scale Background in health-tech, EHR integrations, or healthcare compliance (HIPAA) Exposure to performance testing, load testing, or data validation frameworks Experience with Azure / AWS and containerized environments (Docker / Kubernetes) What We’re Looking For Quality-obsessed — you treat quality as a product feature, not a checkbox Strong ownership mindset — you own outcomes, not just test cases Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment Collaborative — you work with engineers to prevent bugs, not just find them Why Join Us? Impact at scale: The quality you ensure directly affects AI workflows that accelerate cancer research and improve patient outcomes globally Cutting-edge problems: Test complex, data-intensive systems at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and scale World-class team: Collaborate with top talent across AI, engineering, and product with best-in-industry compensation Culture that ships: Fast-paced, ownership-driven environment with company-sponsored workations (Bali, Sri Lanka, Goa, and more) Perks & Benefits Lunch provided at the office — one less daily decision Flexible working hours — we care about output, not clock-ins Comprehensive health insurance for you and your family Zomato meal benefits for early starts and late nights
