Software Developer (Systems Software) McLean, VA | Clearance: TS/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph Join a team specializing in the design, engineering, implementation, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level mission systems, networks, and applications. This is a DevOps-focused role supporting critical programs. Mandatory Skills Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins required) Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform (required) Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and related core services Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman) Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python (required) Experience with database self-hosting : installation, configuration, backup/recovery, high availability, and performance tuning (PostgreSQL, MySQL) Hands‑on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus/Alertmanager and CloudWatch Experience integrating and deploying diverse software systems (AWS services, open‑source apps, COTS/GOTS, and custom solutions) Strong understanding of networking, security, IAM policies, and AWS architecture best practices Experience with Git‑based workflows , branching strategies, and version control best practices Optional Skills Experience deploying data platform components (Apache Spark, Trino , Apache Ranger, Apache Iceberg, Apache Superset, data catalogs) Familiarity with data lakehouse architectures Experience with secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, Parameter Store) Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup strategies, and continuity planning Familiarity with API gateways and modern microservices architectures Experience with AWS cost optimization practices Background supporting AI/ML workloads or model serving infrastructure Experience mentoring team members on DevOps and cloud best practices Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.) Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and ELK stack Experience integrating customer enterprise services Benefits MH Corbitt Consulting is a small business with 25+ years of IT experience and active contracts in the Intelligence Community.
