Overview Location: Toronto, ON, Canada Contract – On-Site Start Date: 2026-05-11 End Date: 2026-11-13 Application status: Applications for this position are now closed Job Type: Client Employer: Government Services Integration Cluster Hourly Wage: 76-89 Closing Date/Time: 2026-05-05, 12:00 p.m. EST Max submission: 1 (one) 5 days onsite Responsibilities Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. odeveloping detailed programming specifications owriting and/or generating code ocompiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests. Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations. General Skills / Experience Experience in programming and analysis; specialized software package support at the specified experience level Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications Experience in design, code, test, debug and document applications Experience in the use of object and/or third generation language development tools Experience in one or more programming languages Experience in application design, latest design patters, deployment and troubleshooting Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies Experience in the use of information retrieval packages using query languages Experience with one or more communications protocols Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines Qualifications and Experience The Resources will act as a subject matter experts on a variety of cloud and AI projects initiatives such as: Enabling and designing the Government of Ontario's clouds Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle and GCP. Designing and configuring advance security for existing and new cloud providers. Assist with complex setup of public cloud providers creating reusable patterns. Assist in updating and creating provisioning pipelines the Government Cloud offerings by writing and maintain a provisioning code base for infrastructure delivery as well as data gathering/reporting Cloud Knowledge and Experience - 50% Demonstrated experience enabling and designing the Government of Ontario's clouds Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle and Google clouds. Commmunications and Customer Service - 25% Demonstrated experience of working with customers/key stakeholders and using communication skills to resolve operational issues, negotiate or document process related intelligence. Analysis and Problem-Solving - 25% Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting and resolving Azure/AWS/IBM/GCP/Oracle Cloud environments incidents and working with vendor partners.
