Role Overview

Operations Helix Ltd is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our Digital Solutions team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable software applications that support digital transformation projects across life sciences and advanced manufacturing.

Working closely with engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders, you will build web applications, APIs, and internal software tools while ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web‑based software applications..
• Build secure REST APIs and backend services.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code.
• Integrate applications with databases and third‑party systems.
• Perform testing, debugging, and software maintenance.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile development activities.
• Support deployment to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Experience with C# and ASP.NET Core..
• Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Git version control.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with React or Angular.
• Knowledge of Azure or AWS.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of software development best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related subject.
• Minimum 2 years industry experience.
