Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer with strong expertise in Shopify and Frontend development to lead the creation, optimization, and maintenance of our eCommerce platform. You will play a key role in building scalable, high-performance websites with modern UI/UX principles, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences. Job Duties

Shopify eCommerce Website Development

• Build responsive, user-friendly Shopify eCommerce websites
• Collaborate with sales and design teams for alignment on project goals
• Design and develop with scalability and modern UI/UX best practices
• Ensure SEO optimization and cross-platform compatibility

System Maintenance

• Monitor site performance, uptime, and stability on a regular basis
• Apply security updates and resolve technical issues
• Manage third-party apps, plugins, and custom integrations
• Enhance features based on analytics and customer feedback

Documentation

• Create clear, technical, and user-friendly documentation
• Document setup procedures, deployment steps, and feature details
• Maintain version-controlled and up-to-date documentation
• Support onboarding and internal knowledge sharing

Skills

• 3+ years of experience building and customizing Shopify themes (Liquid, JSON)
• Proficient in Shopify Plus, Checkout Extensibility, and Shopify API integration
• Skilled with Git, branching strategies, and deployment workflows
• Experience with Redux, React Context API, and frontend testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Capable of debugging, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance UI
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering, design, and business teams
• Problem-solving oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
• Strong UX intuition and understanding of eCommerce user behavior is preferred

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer
• Korean/English bilingual proficiency with intermediate speaking and writing skills, and advanced understanding skills
• Demonstrated experience in Shopify theme development and site maintenance
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and team collaboration
