Software Developer (Dynamics 365 Business Central)

Overview

STA Consulting Engineers is seeking a versatile Software Developer with experience in Microsoft AL language for Dynamics 365 Business Central and web-app development to join our in-house development team. This is a full-time office-based permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Dynamics 365 Business Central modifications, add-ons and solutions to contribute toward business process improvement and/or business efficiency.
• Write code to extend all functional areas of Business Central, formulate change specifications, create basic prototypes and refine the final product through to successful implementation.
• Collaborate with the web-app team to contribute to the development of the in-house ERP system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related qualification or higher
• 5+ years of experience as a software developer
• At least 1 year of experience with AL programming language
• Experience with Business Central is required
• Experience extending common third-party Business Central add-on solutions is highly desired
• Experience with automated testing desired

Beneficial requirements

• Experience with VBA scripting for Microsoft Products
• Experience with management tools like Jira
