Software Developer

Job Overview We are recruiting a Software Developer to develop and maintain customer‑facing systems, internal software, data automation, validation, CI/CD, and generic coding work items. The role is on‑site, entry‑level, full‑stack, and reports to the Software Development Supervisor. Responsibilities Manage work item tracking in Azure DevOps daily to achieve sprint capacity and support Developer KPI initiatives.

Understand and stay current with all company applications and systems. Adhere to project commitments and deadlines based on approved delivery plans. Write, test, and deploy code for various applications to meet stakeholder business needs.

Create and maintain project test suites. Create and maintain build automation pipelines. Perform data input and basic ETL responsibilities.

Potentially interface with external resources for CenterPoint machine validation. Support internal processes through creation of data models, workflows, and automation. Investigate and troubleshoot bugs, design fixes, and assist end users with training and process creation.

Support CenterLine’s Employee Continuous Improvement (ECI) initiatives through knowledge sharing, brainstorming, and code implementations to eliminate waste. Complete various generic tasks assigned by senior staff to improve departmental workload efficiency. Qualifications Computer Science degree or equivalent through relevant work experience or personal projects.

Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Serverless offerings; experience is an asset. Experience with React, TypeScript, HTML5, ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, Java, CSS, JavaScript, IIS, MS SQL Server. Ability to leverage in‑house and third‑party libraries for fast turnaround of deliverables.

Proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and visualization using modern BI tools. Experience creating back‑end REST APIs to service multiple front‑end UIs is an asset. Experience with Data Science/Machine Learning technologies is an asset.

Experience with PLM systems and/or Windchill PDMLink is an asset. Experience with Epicor ERP is an asset. Experience with Engineering workflows is an asset.

Experience with Agile development workflows (Scrum, Waterfall, SCCM, XP) is an asset.
