About Cat5 Resources LLC Cat5 Resources is a diversified supplier of technical and operational services across the Southern US, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. In 2004, when Hurricane Charley devastated Florida, our CEO, Cindy Perez, received an out‑of‑the‑blue call from a long‑term telecom client in urgent need of help. Their other vendors could not deliver, so they turned to Cindy for assistance.
She responded without hesitation, mobilizing a fleet of generators and emergency fuel to ensure the client’s critical infrastructure remained operational throughout the event. In 2013, Cindy founded Cat5 Resources with a mission to provide reliable and innovative solutions for critical infrastructure resiliency. Since then, the Cat5 Resources team has consistently delivered exceptional customer service to clients nationwide.
Over the years, Cat5 Resources has expanded its offerings to include Disaster Recovery Services, Operations and Maintenance, Civil, Electrical, and Construction, as well as Transportation and Logistics. As a certified Woman‑Owned Business, Cat5 Resources serves the entire Southern United States. In 2016, we extended our services into Puerto Rico with the launch of Cat5 Caribbean, focusing on critical infrastructure support in disaster‑prone regions.
Further expanding our capabilities, in 2024, we introduced Cat5 Power Solutions, our Portable Power Sales and Rentals Division, delivering versatile power solutions to businesses and communities across the Southern US. Position Summary Responsible for providing comprehensive support, issue diagnosis, and development for our internally developed ASP.NET web application. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the full .NET stack, including .NET MAUI, JavaScript, C#, and SQL Server.
Remote work is the default, but occasional travel to our offices in Texas, Alabama, Florida, and Puerto Rico is required for hands‑on support and training. Essential Functions Application Support (44% of time spent) Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the ASP.NET web application. Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
Provide second‑level support for escalated user queries. Test system changes prior to production release. Measured By: Accuracy Timeliness Compliance Knowledge Confidentiality Prioritizing Organization Documentation (16% of time spent) Develop and maintain user manuals, FAQs, and training materials.
Act as a point of contact for user feedback and improvement suggestions. Measured By: Accuracy Timeliness Knowledge Confidentiality Prioritizing Organization Technical Expertise (40% of time spent) Utilize strong knowledge of .NET MAUI, ASP.NET, JavaScript, C#, and SQL Server to support and enhance application functionality. Write and execute SQL queries to analyze data and resolve user issues.
Research and stay current on the latest software development technologies, including mobile app development. Measured By: Accuracy Timeliness Knowledge Confidentiality Prioritizing Organization Key Competencies Decision Making: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Interaction: Interaction with IT department, internal/seasonal employees, customers, and vendors.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Experience Experience with remote support tools and techniques, familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, prior experience providing training or user education, and 3+ years of experience in application support or a similar role. Special Skills and/or Abilities Proficiency in .NET MAUI, C#, JavaScript, Microsoft SQL Server, and the ASP.NET framework.
Important Qualities and Characteristics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for user support. Education/Training College Degree required. The Pay Range for this role is 90,000 - 111,854 USD per year (US National) #J-18808-Ljbffr
