What You’ll Do

  • Work in a cross-functional development team where continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are part of daily work. Your role will include:
  • Define architecture and design of networking software based on Linux for embedded automotive applications.
  • Integration, implementation, and release-testing of the embedded software and firmware.
  • Interfacing with multi-disciplinary teams for software integration and verification.

What You Need To Get The Job Done

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience in C++ (v11 and above).
  • 5+ years of working knowledge of the Linux network subsystem.
  • 5+ years of working knowledge with IPC mechanisms and POSIX systems.
  • Knowledge of L2/L3 networking, protocols, and tools.
  • Knowledge of the Agile process and experience working in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence.
  • Git, GitHub, Jira, Confluence (Atlassian toolchain), Jenkins, Yocto, etc.

What Will Make Us Really Love You

  • Experience with QNX.
  • Good knowledge of board bring-up, U-Boot, and developing applications for Linux OS, preferably on ARM platforms (preferably NXP).
  • Experience designing middleware for OTA, system health and environment monitoring, logging, etc.
  • Knowledge of network synchronization protocols (IEEE 1588 PTP, SyncE).
  • Hands-on system-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Collaborative attitude and strong teamwork.
  • Interest in project-based work and staying at the top of technical development.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 a year.
