Soc Analyst

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst based in Birmingham. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security incidents, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to potential threats. They will manage security tools and technologies, document incidents, assist in creating reports, and develop recommendations for enhanced security measures.

Collaboration with other teams to ensure compliance with security standards and protocols is also a key part of this role. Qualifications Experience in cybersecurity, incident response, and vulnerability management Proficiency in analyzing security data, using security tools, and implementing threat detection Good understanding of network and system security, malware analysis, and risk assessment Strong problem‑solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail Ability to work effectively on‑site in a collaborative team environment Familiarity with security standards and regulations such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or NIST frameworks Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are advantageous Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
