Skin Cancer Nurse/Clinician | Melbourne | Agency Contracts

Curis Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses or Clinicians with skin cancer screening experience to join a large national workplace skin cancer screening program in Melbourne, VIC.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across metropolitan and regional locations throughout Perth and surrounding areas, providing skin cancer screening and early detection services to people in their workplaces.

As a Skin Cancer Nurse or Clinician, you will conduct comprehensive skin and mole assessments, utilise dermoscopy and other screening tools, identify areas of concern and determine when further medical assessment is required.


Key Responsibilities

• Conduct skin cancer, skin and mole screening assessments
• Assess and identify suspicious lesions and areas requiring further investigation
• Utilise dermoscopy and other relevant screening equipment
• Provide clear and professional health education to participants
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
• Work independently to manage onsite screening sessions
• Escalate findings appropriately and recommend further medical review where required

Essential Criteria

• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration, no restrictions
• Must have Skin Cancer or Dermoscopy qualifications
• Previous experience in skin cancer screening, skin checks or mole checks
• Experience with dermoscopy/melanography
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage onsite screening sessions
• Own dermoscope lens preferred, but not essential
