Site Manager – Edinburgh We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead delivery on a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based just outside of Edinburgh. This is a key role overseeing site operations on a high-profile energy infrastructure scheme. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Monitor progress against programme and report to senior management Maintain accurate site records, including RAMS, permits, and progress reports Lead site meetings and liaise with stakeholders Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) CSCS Black Card (Manager level) Strong experience working on high-voltage (HV) electrical projects Experience on 132kV or similar transmission/distribution projects highly desirable Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment Desirable: Experience working on renewable energy or BESS projects Duration: 2 years Rate: £450pd - £550pd IR35: Outside If you have a strong background in HV infrastructure and are looking to be part of a critical energy project, we’d love to hear from you.
