Job Description

Design & Build are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a growing Melbourne-based builder with a strong reputation across the bespoke residential sector.

Their primary focus is on high-end residential builds, delivering stunning architecturally designed homes and boutique apartments typically valued up to $10m. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work and several projects already underway, they're looking to expand their team with a like-minded professional.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a small and close-knit team that values its people. Culture is a priority for them, and they make a deliberate effort to ensure their team is well looked after, shown in their low level of turnover.

As Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing all on-site activities across multiple high-end residential projects
• Overseeing the construction of complex, architecturally designed homes
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to expected quality standards
• Leading site teams and coordinating trusted subcontractors
• Managing documentation and reporting through the company's construction software
• Liaising closely with clients, architects, and key stakeholders to maintain strong relationships

The ideal candidate:

• Proven experience delivering multiple high end residential projects (including basements) valued at $6m+
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions
• Excellent time management and leadership skills
• Confident using construction management systems for documentation and compliance
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively build relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors and internal teams
